Prince William to visit British troops in Estonia amid NATO defense efforts

Prince William is set to visit British troops stationed in Estonia next week as part of the UK's commitment to supporting NATO allies and strengthening the defense of the alliance’s eastern flank.

His two-day visit, beginning on March 20, will include engagements in Tallinn, where he will learn about Estonia’s response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, according to Kensington Palace.

Britain currently has around 900 troops deployed in Estonia and Poland under 'Operation Cabrit,' a mission contributing to NATO's military presence in the region following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Prince William's visit coincides with a period of heightened defense efforts across Europe, as the UK and other allies increase military spending in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s calls for greater contributions to European security.
