Princess Eugenie welcomes the arrival of her second son

 

Princess Eugenie of York and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are celebrating the birth of their second child, a baby boy, Buckingham Palace announced on Monday.

The couple's son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, was born on May 30, weighing 7 pounds 1 ounce. He joins his two-year-old brother, August, who is thrilled to take on the role of a big brother.

In an Instagram post, Princess Eugenie shared, "He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George, and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already."

Princess Eugenie, 33, is the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York. The newborn baby is now 13th in line to the throne.

The proud parents shared heartwarming photos of their new addition, featuring the baby wearing a blue and white stocking cap, as well as August gently touching his brother's head.
