After a busy day participating in Trooping the Colour, King Charles took to social media on Sunday to share a touching Father's Day message.
The King posted a video montage featuring several poignant clips of his late father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, interacting with him throughout his early years. The footage includes a proud Prince Philip holding and pushing baby Charles in a pram, playing with him as a toddler, visiting him at school, watching the Highland Games together, and sailing. A young Princess Anne and then-Princess Elizabeth also appear in the video.
One especially moving clip shows Prince Philip alongside King George VI with a very young Prince Charles.
The video was accompanied by a heartfelt caption: "We wish all dads and those who might be missing their parents today a relaxing Father’s Day."
